GALAPAGOS CRUISES
Without question a cruise is still the most recommended way to visit the Galapagos Islands. Simply because you are able to visit the islands that are located further away, which gives you a better opportunity to see a wider variety of wildlife and landscapes. As you will be travelling by night it gives you plenty of time throughout the day to have at least two different visits. Besides it is very exciting to wake up every day with a different view.
We understand that is very hard to choose from such a big diversity of yachts, for that reason we have made a selection for you in five different categories according to the price and comfort level they offer; economic yachts, tourist class yachts, tourist superior class yachts, first class yachts and luxury class yachts.
GALAPAGOS HOTEL PACKAGES
Besides cruises there are also hotel packages available to discover the Galapagos Islands in a different way.
These tours are more restricted and can´t visit the same sites as cruises, but are also less expensive and an excellent choice for those with a smaller budget.
In the 4, 5 or 6 day packages you will be comfortably accommodated in a hotel on Santa Cruz or San Cristobal Island for the entire duration of your trip. Being a land based tour it is especially convenient for those getting seasick easily. Besides the overnights you will also have the breakfast and dinner in your hotel every day.
The visits are accompanied by a bilingual naturalist guide and are made on the same Islands or by speed boat to the Islands nearby.

GALAPAGOS ISLANDS HOPPING
Besides the cruises and the hotel packages there is another great way to explore the Galapagos Islands: the Island Hopping tours. The key features are the same as in the hotel packages; you are comfortably accommodated in a hotel every night, you will have your meals every day there and you will make your visits throughout the day accompanied by a naturalist bilingual guide. The main difference and a definitely surplus of these tours is that you can combine your stay in multiple hotels each based on a different Island.
For that reason you lose less valuable time traveling back and forward to the main island and are able to see sometimes different sites than in the hotel packages.
The Island Hopping tour is still more restricted than the cruises, but an excellent choice for those getting seasick easily and looking for a more affordable way to spend at least 6, 7 or 8 days on the Islands.
